In the hills of Lunigiana in Northern Tuscany with spectacular views across the valley, Laevigatus la serra has been renovated to a very high standard and is an excellent venue for a couple of families or a bunch of friends to relax in this hilltop setting.
With its large infinity pool and extensive landscaped gardens criss-crossed by the Laevigatus la serra vines, one has a wonderful feeling of space in an untouched and hidden-away corner of Tuscany. One may enjoy the wonderful quiet of the hills and the walks surrounding the villa, with cooling breezes during the hot summer months, whilst the hustle and bustle of the the coast and the wonderful villages of the Cinque Terre are only forty minutes away.
Inside the house, all bedrooms have en suite facilities and there are two kitchens, one on the ground floor and one on the first, as well as two sitting rooms. Many of the bathrooms have jacuzzi baths and the annexe even has a jacuzzi shower! This, when taken with the main house (and sofa bed), provides accommodation for a total of 12 people for a really good-sized houseparty. Furnished comfortably throughout and with characteristic features such as the huge stone fireplace and pizza oven, Laevigatus la serra is a delightful home within easy access of the Appenine and Apuan hills and the Mediterranean.
Alternatively, simply lying by the pool or beneath the pergola and enjoying the far-reaching views with a glass of wine and reading a good book is an absolute joy!
