This wonderfully appointed chalet offers the heights of comfort, provided by probably the best chalet management in the Alps just two hundred metres from both the slopes and bars of Britain’s favourite French resort.

Chalet Rachelle is ideally positioned in Meribel Village - just two hundred metres from the nearest bars, restaurants and ski lift, connecting to the fantastic Trois Vallees area - but in the case that the day’s exertions on the slopes prove too much, the guests of Chalet  Rachelle are offered chauffeur-driven vehicles for those irksome journeys around resort. Whether one wishes to ski, ice-skate, shop or spend the evening ‘out’, the cars are at one’s disposal.

The chalet is very comfortably furnished with much hand-made furniture, in a contemporary classic style and the log fires, heated balconies and outdoor jacuzzi do nothing to detract from the other luxurious touches that all go to create a surprisingly pampering experience. The qualified chef works hard to produce a perfect level of catering for each guest. There is a full staff of six, dedicated to ensuring that the entire experience is tailored to the party’s requirements and the team continue to surprise us at Global Artichoke with their imaginative and innovative approach to improving their service.

Every morning there is a full breakfast (smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and champagne, if you wish it!) to set you up for a day on the slopes. On your return, afternoon tea awaits - fresh cakes, muffins, cookies and our own brand of mulled wine followed by an excellent four-course dinner. The chalet hostesses will do everything to ensure your holiday runs smoothly, from arranging ski school for the children to mixing the cocktails and dropping you at the night-club. Chalet holidays will never be the same again - how did one ever survive without such service - and the benchmark for quality has been set very high!
