Each is made with local materials in a traditional lodge style – polished floors, stone walls and makuti thatch - with fabulous, king-size beds. The bathrooms are absolutely fantastic – each has either an open-air sunken bath or a pedastal tub in prime position, with panoramic views of the river and Nyaminyami, the spirit of the Zambezi, soothes and relaxes. Each has its own valet, too who will be with you throughout your stay to ensure that you make the most of the comforts and activities on offer.

Each day can be spent doing as little or as much as you want – nothing is any fuss - be it canoeing, lunch on one of the beautiful islands, guided walking around the gorges and bush, sunrise or sunset boating, a visit to Mosi-oa-Tunya the nearby game park with white rhino, white water rafting or simply relaxing on the river bank, absorbing the natural surroundings.

Sindabezi is the beautiful private island camp of four chalets and, with no electricity, provides an unforgettable adventure, mid-river, above the falls. For families, Tangala House is the ultimate location - fully staffed and sitting right on the water’s edge - it is in a truly breathtaking setting. Tangala can be taken, inclusive of all the activities that the lodge has to offer, with the added luxury of returning to your own private residence at the end of the day - the only private house on the river!
