The refinement and detail in the decoration, the harmonious colours and luxuriant fabrics create a wonderfully relaxing, country house atmosphere.

The rooms are all different, traditionally decorated with bold prints finished in peaceful tones, some give onto terraces, some onto gardens. Birdsong and cicadas, the scent of lavendar and coffee in the morning embrace one in a cocoon of comfort. Plane and cypress trees surround the swimming-pool, dappling the terrace in shade whilst the gardens are beautifully mature and offer many walks and avenues and places to breakfast or sit and read. The salons and restaurant open up fully onto the gardens, letting wonderful flower perfumes into the Villa whilst diners may sit on the terrace or inside where armchairs and sofas provide pampering dinner table comfort! Exquisite gourmet Provencal meals are accompanied by the finest Bordeaux, Burgandy and Aix wines.

There are so many  interests in Aix from the town itself with its beautiful fountains, cobbled streets and wonderful churches to the bustle of cafe life on the terraces of the Cours Mirabeau, the art galleries, markets and antique shops and music festivals - there is always a fascinating throng. If one wishes to partake of a sporting activity, one can enjoy golf, riding, polo and mountain biking nearby or simply relax with a good book in the lush gardens of the villa.
