The Hostellerie de Levernois sits by a charming river in four hectares of beautiful woodland park, just on the outskirts of Beaune. A stately white villa, flanked by towering cedar trees and formal gardens, with just sixteen rooms the Hostellerie is an exceptional venue from which to discover the fine wines of Burgundy as well as to explore Beaune, a beautiful city of art, culture and history.

Spacious, bright rooms look out onto the parkland and for those lovers of golf then there is an eighteen-hole course right on the doorstep. Vineyards stretch for miles around, providing the perfect opportunity for those interested in improving their knowledge of oenology, viticulture and all those fascinating subjects which revolve around the noble art of wine tasting. The Hostellerie de Levernois works closely with the wine schools of Burgundy and is therefore the perfect port of call for any willing pupils.

Guests are extremely well looked after by their hosts, Monsieur and Madame Bottigliero whose restaurant is the setting for many memorable evenings. The superb kitchen garden, located in the park, supplies the ingredients for a flavoursome, authentic cuisine, bristling with seasonal vegetables, ably chaperoned by one or two of those local Burgundy appellations from the excellent wine cellar.

In addition to wine tasting and visits to Beaune there is the opportunity to be a little more active, should guests feel the need - one may go fishing, biking and horse riding or there is even the opportunity to ride in a hot air balloon, high above the vineyards and countryside of Bourgogne.
