La Sivoliere is just like a big chalet, nestling in the woods on the side of the Dou du Midi piste above the centre of Courchevel 1850. One can ski from the door down to the lifts of the fabulous 3 Valleys ski area and ski directly back in at the end of the day - which is a wonderful faciliy and the envy of all other skiers!

Inside the hotel, decoration is in typical Savoyade style with carved wood and open fireplaces, plenty of bare staone and intersting colours producing a very relaxing and supremely comfortable effect. There are numerous lounges and sitting rooms - the library room, card room and games room - where groups can spread out and enjoy their evenings as they think fit.

Downstairs there is a full ski shop for guests’ convenience and the technicians will provide the very best service and equipment, being able to make any ongoing adjustments over night. There is also a full range of ski-related products on sale in case anything is missing.

Hidden away there are also a swimming pool, hammam, jacuzzi and massage rooms where any aches and pains can be skillfully remedied or one can put in a coupleof laps - the very best complementary excercise to skiing. La Sivoliere is particularly good for children and the Kid’s room is well stocked with games, toys and DVDs.

All of the twenty-six rooms, suites and apartments are different and some have terraces, some open fires and the views of mountains and slopes changes from each. All are tastefully decorated with colourful fabrics and plenty of wood, carved in traditional fashion.

The atmosphere at La Sivoliere is very relaxed and one feels very much at ease as one would in a private chalet and the high standard of service and quality of cuisine, coupled with attention to detail produce the perfect blend of attentive unimposing pampering!
