Originally built in the 1940's and lovingly restored as a private home in the early 1990's, Killarney is spacious and extremely comfortable. Decorated and furnsihed to a high standard, this enchanting country home accomodates up to 14 people and is ideal for families and groups of friends wishing to either explore the area or simply relax amidst the beauty, peace and comfort of Killarney.
The Lowveld region is as well known for its spectacular beauty and adventure activities as it is for its game viewing potential. You can spend days exploring this magical part of the world and will find something that appeals to everyone in your party - regardless of age and fitness levels. Further afield is the Kruger National Park - easily accessible as a day trip from Killarney Farm House - or guests may prefer a tour to the Blyde River Canyon, Sudwala Caves or a more cultural visit to the Shangana Cultural Village in Hazyview. For the adventurous and sporty there is white water rafting, canoeing, abseiling and quad-biking as well as hiking, fishing and 4 x 4 adventures. Guests are spoilt for choice when staying at Killarney and the delightful staff will assist you in arranging and advising you on what may be best.
Alternatively, guests may simply prefer to relax at Killarney and make the most of the property with its pool, rivers and dams. There are scenic game drives and walks from the farm and mountain view sundowners can be arranged from a private location overlooking the stunning Sudwala valley. Even dinner beneath the stars can be arranged around a roaring fire - at Killarney Farm House one is spoilt for choice.
