A unique and exceptionally well-positioned seaside villa, Cala del Bove is set up above the water's edge on the western coast of the beautiful Monte Argentario promontory. Designed for summer use only, this contemporary villa boasts large open cool living areas with exposed stone walls that face the sea and the swimming pool. Cala del Bove has been decorated in a simple yet modern way where guests can enjoy the spacious rooms and terraces from which to soak in the outstanding views across the Mediterranean.
A terraced garden with lush lawns leads down to the villa and beyond to the swimming pool site on a paved terrace just above the sea. A floodlit tennis court sits at the top of the property in a position that commands breathtaking views of the coastline. Access to the sea and a small rocky water access can be reached by a fairly steep climb 200 yards below the villa.
Nearby Cala del Bove is Cala Piccola, a small hamlet on the western side of Monte Argentario facing the Island of Giglio. There is a good restaurant just down the road from the property at the Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola and many more restaurants, shops and cafés at Porto Santo Stefano. Around the other side of the promontory is the charming, stylish and yet unspoilt town of Porto Ercole, where one can sit and people watch as stylish Italians take to their yachts!
