The villa is built on 2 floors with the ground floor opening onto the beautiful garden and the second floor opening onto a wonderful roof terrace where you can enjoy fantastic views over the sea towards Porto Vecchio and the mountains.  The garden is private with plenty of trees in which to shelter under or bask in the sunshine.

Porto Vecchio (7km away) is a chic cosmopolitan area with a fabulous backdrop of the spearing needles of Col de Bavella.  The quaint old town is full of ancient streets which are filled with designer boutiques and restaurant terraces.  Below the town is one of the most distinguished harbours in Europe where you will find the marina bustling with life along the promenade.

Above Porto Vecchio lies ‘Massif de I’ospedale’, a densely forested mountainous area where you can enjoy some of Corsica’s most breathtaking views across the gulf while enjoying picnics, waterfalls and various walks.

The beaches in Porto Vecchio could easily be mistaken for somewhere much further afield with Palombaggia and Santa Giulia ranked amongst the most beautiful beaches in Corsica.  Palombaggia is perhaps the most famous beach on the island, renowned for its clear turquoise waters and white long stretching sandy beaches.

At Corsica’s southern tip ‘lands end’, sits the fortress town of Bonifacio.  Established in 833, its rich history offers visitors a fascinating and bustling base from which to explore the south of the island.  Mentioned in Homer’s Odyssey, the precipitous cliffs overhanging the sea are honeycombed with old watery grottoes.  One of the best places to enjoy the amazing views of the town and port can be seen from the sea.  Daily flotilla excursions and boats can be seen heading out to the best vantage points, including Lavezzi island, a wonderful marine reserve and popular diving spot.
