Coum l’Uliveto is a typical old Tuscan farmhouse immersed in a peaceful 20 hectares of meadow and ancient olive trees which are used for making local olive oil.  Positioned close to the charming fishing village of Porto Ercole on the Monte Argentario peninsular, the house is only minutes from the hustle and bustle of restaurants, shops and the famous white beaches of Feniglia.

Coum l’Uliveto gives off a feeling of great tranquillity and peace but with a familiar and homely feel. This is the perfect place for a family holiday or retreat for a group of painters, yoga enthusiasts or alike.  Decorated and furnished in a typical rustic farmhouse style, with handmade terracotta floor tiles and old roof tiles, the house offers a basic yet comfortable base from which to relax from the hot Italian sun or explore the surrounding area of Monte Argentario.

The gardens surrounding the house are rural and meadow like, a large walled meadow in front of the house is dotted with fruit trees where you can sit sheltered from any wind and enjoy the hot sun.  Next to the house is a lovely shaded pergola, perfect for enjoying meals with large numbers while taking in the view of the Cala Galera, Ansedonia's gulf, the Spanish fortresses up on the hill in the distance.

The views from both the house and gardens are charming with sea views from most the upstairs bedrooms, and acres of untouched land and woodland it gives one the feeling of stepping back in time.  This house is just charming and a wonderful little haven to know about!
