The latest James Bond film The Quantum of Solace is filmed (among other places) on location at Global Artichoke's villa the Versicolor Talamonaccio overlooking the Maremma coastline of Tuscany.
We at Artichoke Mansions think the director took his inspiration from Mr A (our venerable leader) when he met him at a recent charity gala in London. Mr A has always had a mysterious air and a certain frisson of danger travels with him wherever he goes.
Versicolor Talamonaccio is an old Spanish Fort - used as Mathius' villa - overlooking the sea and great fun for a holiday with friends - an unusual place to stay and from which to explore Monte Argentario just to the south - and the perfect place to hole up in, whether an evil villain, secret agent or Global Artichoke guest.
