With fabulous views across the bay and the impressive Atlantic rollers, Bholua Goizegi is a beautifully appointed property with stylish interior décor and all the comforts of a real home.

Situated on the edge of the charming fishing village of Ciboure and only fifteen mintues from the Spanish border, Bholua Goizegi is an ideal property for both keen golfers and those wishing to explore the delightful Basque region. Basque for ‘Never too Late’, the property was originally a cluster of fishermen’s cottages and after the war was converted into a house. The present owners have fully restored and extended it into the beautiful property it now is with a mixture of gorgeous restored floor tiles from Limoges and old pine flooring, beamed ceilings, elegant furniture and stylish and tasteful decoration.

Downstairs, the large drawing room with upright piano and large picture window looking across the ocean, leads through to the pretty sitting room area. With books and pictures throughout and plenty of sofas and chairs, Bholua Goizegi is a really lovely family home. The kitchen lends itself to the preparation and enjoyment of cooking delicious meals and is extremely well equipped with utility area at the back of the house. Each of the bedrooms has been decorated in pretty toile with matching curtains, wall covering and bedheads. With plenty of bathrooms and views to the ocean all the bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable indeed and there is a fun children’s bedroom with single and bunk beds. The master bedroom has a large balcony and all the windows have attractive shutters.

Outside, there is a large terrace around the front of the house and plenty of tables and chairs for outside dining. The spacious covered area below the terrace (with table tennis and table football), is ideal for outside dining on those occasions when it extremely hot or inclement. The fabulous salt water swimming pool is completely fenced and the lawn leading down to the pool from the house is bordered with all sorts of colourful vegetation including oleander, palm trees and geraniums encouraged by the temperate climate of the region. With the nearby Atlantic beaches, the mountains of the Pyrenees, Spain just over the border and easy access by air, train and car, this house is ideally situated for a fun and relaxing holiday.
