Isphylla Poeta is on Ischia, situated between Casamicciola and Ischia Porto (the harbour). The property includes the entire promontory that slopes down to the sea and consists of a central Villa with three bedrooms (1 Kingsize & 2 Double bedrooms), plus a single bedroom for the staff.

Villa Isophylla Poeta has a large living room (about 180sq metres) with refined and elegant furnishings as befitted the original owner, Countess Berkley. It is set in a position of complete privacy, surrounded by greenery and dominating the headland which comprises the estate, whilst commanding a magnificent view from Capri to Gaeta, over Naples and Procida.

The property is arranged in concentric circles and one reaches the sea by way of a stair or private road. Lower down the hill, towards the outer circle of woodland are two Suites, O’Padrone and Santina. Both are furnished very beautifully and are also notable for the very large picture windows that open up a breathtaking panorama.

The drive connects the villa and suites to the apartments Vulcano and ‘The Terrace on the World’, both of which benefit from the same magnificent view. In the upper circle, a cloister made with  brick from the 14th century Church of S.Francesco in Assisi connects with the main Villa and garden where there are a further four terraces. The garden is planted with wonderful rare specimens and opens onto a fifth terrace on which there is a swimming pool and solarium.
