Run by the Scherz family since 1913, the legendary Gstaad Palace is majestic as it is cosmopolitan - refined hospitality and elegance tempered with chic style. There is simply nowhere like it.

The Gstaad Palace. It has epitomised all that is stylish and chic in ski resorts for almost one hundred years. Legendary and elegant, the Palace is always so lively and cosmopolitan and under the auspices of the Scherz family, it remains so by constantly recreating itself. Today it has retained all that was great in its early years and added to it all that is worthwhile from more recent times to create an unique hotel.

One hundred rooms and suites are all spacious and tastefully decorated and command breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. They are sumptuously furnished and extremely comfortable and have all the modern amenities one could wish for.

There are five restaurants at the Gstaad Palace, the main one being ‘Le Restaurant’ where breakfast lunch and dinner are served inside or on the terrace, when weather permits. Gildo’s - named after the Maitre D’ of 40 years’ standing - is an Italian restaurant, Le Grill is a rotisserie and La Fromagerie serves up traditional Swiss specialities. The Lobby Bar is the centre of all life in Gstaad - from morning coffee to after dinner drinks - and Le Bar du Grill presents live music every evening.

This busy schedule of hospitality can, of course, be interrupted by serious pampering in the spa, the indoor (or outdoor) pool, steam and saunas or perhaps a game of squash - and of course, there is the skiing. More than 250kms of pistes served by 62 lifts and a glacier at 3000m - The Gstaad Palace is unique and a very special alpine treat!
